One crazy idea. Two photographers. Three A.M. wakeup. Four outfits. SUNRISE AT THE DUNES!! To say that I had weird dreams the night before this shoot is an understatement. And as tired as I was when I got home, I am DYING to go back! Nothing compares to the energy and creative draw from a place like this.
We unloaded all our stuff and the glorious sun started to come up. It was freezing! Our model, Reghan was such a trooper though, and bundled up to keep warm during lighting changes and between shots. Thankfully, Katie brought hand and toe warmers, such a lifesaver! Outfit one, change. Outfit two, change. Break. We were hustling because it was so cold! Eventually it warmed up to the point we were sweating and it was 10am and time to go. Long drive home, but WOW. All three of us were thrilled with the results of the morning.
